Didn't your parents tell you to "look where you are going"?

Apparently not for today's youths with their mobile phones (aka distracted walking devices).

We're sick of mobile phone users weaving all over the place when walking.

They expect everyone else to avoid them so they can watch their latest cat videos!

Well, no more! One simple change fixes this.

We stop distracted walking by mandating one trivial software change.

All modern mobile phones have sensors which can detect walking (e.g. they can count your steps each day).

So we require phone manufacturers to blank the phone's screen when it detects walking.

Job done. Watch your cat videos at home!
